Preliminary Scientific Program
The conference will cover all aspects of organisms living in saline environments, including:
- Evolution and astrobiology
- Biodiversity, taxonomy and phylogeny
- Genomics and systems biology
- Physiology and metabolism
- Molecular genetics and biochemistry
- Biotechnological applications
The meeting will be divided into different sessions in which scientific presentations on halophiles will be in the form of Keynote lectures, Oral presentations and Posters. Keynote lectures will be by invitation.
